Where is located Wallis Island?

Wallis Island (or Uvea in Wallisian) is not a very well-know island. It’s a Polynesian island in the Pacific Ocean belonging to France.

Wallis Island is composed of 2 islands : Wallis and Futuna, as you can see on the map below.

 

The capital is Mata’utu. Where will we live? in Liku, located in Hahake District, near the east coast of Wallis Island. Wallis has an area of 75 km², it’s impressive how small it is 😉
